Stela Hamamdžić is a visual artist who concentrates in painting, sculpture and installation.

She has recently received her B.F.A from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Her most recent body of work titled ‘Vrijeme je da se suočimo sa svojim osjećajima i da ih prihvatimo (It’s time to confront and embrace our emotions)’ was included in a group show titled Patchwork which was exhibited in the Mason Gross gallery, New Brunswick. Her practice combines painting, sculpture and installation; pushing the barrier of what is considered a sculpture or a painting. Having a focus on raw emotions that stem from generational trauma, through her work she wants viewers to acknowledge and confront their own emotions.
